Global Industrial is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to join our team in Desoto, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with other shifts and office personnel
  • Assist supervisor in maintaining warehouse security and safety
  • Direct staff in day-to-day warehouse operations
  • Allocate sales orders to appropriate staff
  • Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Handle expedite requests from customer service
  • Assume operational responsibility in supervisor's absence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in warehouse environment
  • 1+ year experience operating electric pallet jack
  • 1+ year experience utilizing RF Scanner
  • Knowledge of RF pick/pack technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem resolution and reasoning abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer, and Outlook
