Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a SEM Specialist at FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. to analyze semiconductor patterned wafers using advanced microscopy tools in an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

Work closely with researchers to understand project imaging requirements and deliver high-quality results.
Document and report results in an organized manner.
Prioritize sample requests and consult with product development manager.
Use EDAX detector to identify materials and quantify layer thickness.
Troubleshoot and resolve tool issues.
Keep lab space organized and adhere to safety procedures.
Provide technical oversight and training on tool techniques.
Remain current with new imaging procedures and research.
Develop new protocols for imaging techniques.
Train other operators and maintain accurate records.
Prepare technical reports and present findings at meetings.
Ensure work is conducted in accordance with safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members and external entities.
Assist with using other metrology tools in the lab.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in experimental sciences with 3-5 years of SEM/STEM experience or Master's degree with 0-2 years.
Proficiency in operating SEM/STEM microscope and related tools.
Experience with sample preparation and imaging semiconductor samples.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Thermo Fisher Helios FIB SEM and EDAX detector preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve tool issues.
