The Retention Sales Director sells bundled institutional retirement plan services to not-for-profit higher education defined contribution plans. Responsible for identifying opportunities and developing relationships with retirement plan clients to exceed sales goals.
Develop sales strategy for institutional retirement plans in assigned book of business.
Build effective internal relationships to execute the sales strategy.
Manage an assigned sales territory.
Cultivate relationships with prospects and clients to sell retirement plan services.
Initiate and follow up on new business opportunities.
Lead business meetings and close sales with institutional retirement plan prospects/clients.
University degree preferred.
5+ years of work experience required; 7+ years preferred.
FINRA Registrations: Series 6 or 7, Series 63.
