Job Description

Join NBCUniversal as the Vice President of Newsgathering for MSNBC, a critical editorial leadership role working closely with producers, correspondents, and reporters to manage daily reporting.

Responsibilities

Leading and managing daily editorial and logistical coverage process
Coaching editorial teams including correspondents
Guiding story development from conceptualization to completion
Developing relationships with show teams
Coordinating editorial planning across platforms
Integrating reporting across MSNBC platforms
Ensuring all reporting aligns with news standards
Participating in special projects and change initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 15 years of editorial experience
Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience
Ability to foster teamwork and mentor colleagues
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
