Job Description

POOLCORP is seeking an Operations Manager to direct and coordinate activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, direct, and manage all warehouse staff.
  • Review open sales orders, purchase orders, and warehouse safety procedures.
  • Consult with buyers and vendors for product information.
  • Manage inventory, control stock outs, and reduce excessive inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts, manage freight expense, and approve invoices.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures.
  • Support sales staff in meeting sales objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment.
  • Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.
  • Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software.
  • Strong communication skills.
