Job Description
POOLCORP is seeking an Operations Manager to direct and coordinate activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.
Responsibilities
Hire, train, direct, and manage all warehouse staff.
Review open sales orders, purchase orders, and warehouse safety procedures.
Consult with buyers and vendors for product information.
Manage inventory, control stock outs, and reduce excessive inventory.
Perform cycle counts, manage freight expense, and approve invoices.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures.
Support sales staff in meeting sales objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3-5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment.
Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.
Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software.
Strong communication skills.
