Job Description

Support teaching staff by implementing curriculum and facilitating enriching classroom experiences for children enrolled in Early Learning or School-age programs.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement group activities based on program-specific curriculum
Supervise and interact with children positively
Maintain learning centers reflecting children's interests
Provide a variety of experiences emphasizing active learning
Follow organization policies and procedures
Encourage language development and respect for diversity
Assist with program maintenance and cleanliness

Qualifications

12 semester units in child development or one year of experience with children
Current certification in pediatric CPR and first aid
Health screening, TB clearance, and immunization proof
Clear background screening and mandated reporter certification
California driver's license and insurance preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese preferred
