Job Description

Join Tower Semiconductor Ltd. as an Equipment Engineer specializing in Dry Etch equipment. You will be responsible for sustaining, optimizing, and improving Plasma Etch Semiconductor Equipment performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Lead all maintenance activities scheduled and unscheduled on assigned equipment
Provide leadership, guidance, and assistance to area technicians
Work with Process, Production, Procurement, and Facility groups to drive cost savings projects
Generate and execute on-time improvement projects on assigned equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining Semiconductor Equipment, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills on Dry Etch equipment
Experience on LAM 9600, 9400, 4500, 2300 toolsets is preferred
In-depth knowledge of equipment functionality, subcomponents, control circuit, and process parameters
Thorough knowledge of measurement instrumentations, electro-mechanical devices, vacuum systems, Robotics/Sensors, and strong engineering/Technology skills
Ability to conduct data and statistical analysis to evaluate equipment performance
Strong leadership and computer skills
