Job Description

The Logistics Supervisor serves as direct leadership to the shipping and receiving staff, ensuring all warehouse functions are operating properly and orders are produced and shipped on time.

Responsibilities

Coordinate labor needs with other Supervisors and departments as needed.
Monitor daily outbound Shipping Report to ensure meeting customer expectations.
Schedule, coordinate, and manage FTL and/or LTL freight pickups and deliveries from supplier base to customer locations nationwide.
Prepare accurate bill of ladings for third party shipments.
Organize shipping documents and pictures into CSR file folder.
File freight claims and coordinate these activities with Quality and project management.
Work closely with the Logistics Manager and the team to ensure the department is operating to meet company goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop standardized warehouse and shipping processes.
BA/BS in related field or equivalent work experience.
Basic knowledge of production procedures.
Attention to detail and familiarity with safety standards.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Basic experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
