Job Description

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment in Whitestown, Indiana.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.
Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Allocate resources, organize daily work duties, and guide team members towards improved KPIs.
Assist in employee orientation and promote health and safety working methods.
Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans for operational enhancement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1+ year of powered industrial truck experience preferred.
1+ year of previous experience as a Team Lead preferred.
1+ year of Microsoft Office experience preferred.
1+ year of previous warehouse experience preferred.
Valid forklift operator's license certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
