Job Description

Responsible for providing first point-of-contact service to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Recognize and act upon opportunities to expand customer relationships while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a thorough knowledge of the credit union's products and services.
  • Enthusiastically respond to all inquiries and resolve customer concerns.
  • Evaluate relationships to provide beneficial solutions for customers.
  • Demonstrate cash handling accuracy and efficiency.
  • Open new accounts, cross-sell products, and add new relationships.
  • Promote teamwork, learning new processes, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Maintain customer record privacy and recommend process improvements.
  • Comply with regulations and credit union policies.
  • Process loans within lending policy guidelines.
  • Stay updated on credit union policies and consumer lending practices.
  • Perform job duties in alignment with the Credit Union's values, mission, and vision.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Two years' experience with complex financial service-related requests or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and external systems.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Success-oriented and friendly personality.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to report to any branch location.
