Job Description

Yokohama TWS North America, Inc is seeking an HR & Safety Manager in Akron, Ohio to provide onsite/remote safety and human resources support.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure uniform interpretation and application of policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement key HR and Safety policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Provide training on HR and Safety processes to all levels of the organization.
  • Lead incident tracking and investigation to improve safety measures.
  • Support recruitment efforts and HR projects.
  • Maintain HR, OSHA, and Safety reporting records.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR/Safety experience.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus.
  • Experience with Paycom and in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred.
