Job Description

Join the Product Control Team at Goldman Sachs in New York City to ensure financial control and reporting obligations for a global financial institution are met.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly profit and loss analyses for the trading business
Perform ongoing price verification procedures to ensure appropriate valuation of firm inventory
Assess new trades for appropriate valuation, accounting treatment, and disclosure
Become proficient in capital requirements for the trading business
Analyze and report the balance sheet and funding sources
Produce financial statements and relevant disclosures
Work with financial reporting team on key external reports

Qualifications

Accounting, Economics or Finance degree preferred
CPA or CFA preferred
Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work on a diverse global team
Proactive and detail-oriented with sound judgment
