Job Description

Starr Insurance Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-year projects in the financial services and insurance industry.

Responsibilities

Determine project scope and objectives in accordance with Project Sponsor direction
Lead project planning and execution using appropriate methodology
Manage tasks across cross-functional teams
Develop project plans, manage resources and team performance
Provide project status updates, risk management, and issue escalation
Ensure timely, within scope, and within budget project delivery
Act as primary liaison for all stakeholders
Identify and escalate issues to key decision stakeholders
Monitor project execution, deliverables, resources, and budget
Lead efforts to develop new processes/procedures
Conduct after action reviews for completed projects

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree required
5+ years of project management experience in financial services or insurance
Demonstrated success in managing operational and IT projects
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience in data analysis and compliance
Project management or Certified Scrum Master certification required
