Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Technician at Pacific Northwest Farmers Cooperative. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within our establishment.

Responsibilities

Receive and sample incoming seed, inspecting for inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean work area.
Inspect and report storage and facility problems and concerns.
Read schedules, customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items according to predetermined sequence.
Fill requisitions for seed and distribute items to workers or customers.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Weigh or count items for distribution.
Operate forklift or other motorized vehicles to load or unload seed.
Maintain inventory records related to receiving and loading seed.
Lift or move containers between 25-100 pounds.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret documents.
Basic mathematical skills.
Common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems.
Ability to work extended hours during seasonal needs.
