Warehouse Technician position at Pacific Northwest Farmers Cooperative focusing on receiving, storing, and distributing materials within establishments.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and sample incoming seed, inspecting for inconsistencies.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Inspect and report storage and facility problems.
  • Read schedules to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Convey materials to designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials according to predetermined sequence.
  • Fill requisitions and distribute items.
  • Mark materials with identifying information.
  • Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution.
  • Operate forklift to load or unload seed.
  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Lift or move containers between 25-100 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Common sense reasoning ability.
  • Knowledge of Inventory software and Order processing systems.
  • Preferred: Valid driver's license, forklift certification.
  • Ability to work extended hours during seasonal needs.
