Job Description

Join Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services as a Warehouse Assistant providing support in all areas of the warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, organizing, and inventorying items. Work under the direction of the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory and stage products for orders
Provide excellent customer service on the dock
Coordinate work flow with other departments and volunteer services
Receive donations and log entries
Assist in allocating product and guiding volunteer groups
Follow proper handling procedures
Maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly condition
Assist route drivers in assessing donations

Qualifications

Basic computer programs and data entry skills
Knowledge of food safety principles and practices
High school diploma or equivalent
