ME Global Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Buyer to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. We are a leading manufacturer of metal castings for various industries worldwide.

Responsibilities

Evaluate vendor performance based on personal knowledge of prices, deliveries, and overall service
Maintain good relations with supplier personnel
Convert purchasing requests to Purchase Orders and submit for approval
Maintain maintenance supplies inventory
Develop substitutes for essential maintenance supplies
Assist with special projects as required
Maintain Maintenance Inventory counts

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in Business or 5 years' experience in purchasing
Background in manufacturing desirable
Good oral/written communication skills
Aptitude for mechanical & electrical equipment
