Job Description

McKesson is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Trainer in Ruther Glen, VA to manage and monitor the new hire training program for effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related experience and be knowledgeable in warehouse processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the new hire training program for effectiveness. Program should continue to evaluate and measure productivity and quality.
  • Works closely with management to assess training needs of both new hires and existing employees.
  • Maintain training records and discuss training plans with employees and employee's supervisor.
  • Observes trainee performance and provides instruction, coaching and counseling to improve performance.
  • Provides annual safety re-training courses in order to meet company and government compliance policies.
  • Performs other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of McKesson warehouse processes, procedures, products, programs, and services
  • Knowledge of wholesale, production, and/or manufacturing industry
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Good PC skills required
