Job Description

The Operations Supervisor at DHL is responsible for managing the physical manipulation of mail/small parcels within a Distribution Center, ensuring processes meet customer and internal requirements efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Assign work, set completion dates, review work, and manage performance
  • Supervise employees, mail/small parcel processing, and transportation
  • Establish teamwork environment and employee involvement
  • Monitor facility equipment, productivity, KPIs, and quality reports
  • Support HR in recruitment and interview process
  • Act as liaison with on-site postal clerks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience in Small Parcel Logistics
  • Knowledge of operations quality and safety programs
  • Experience in process improvement tools and automation utilization
  • Supervisory experience in distribution/mail environment
