Job Description

BlueLinx is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our distribution center team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks and railcars while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift safely and in compliance with guidelines
Load, unload, and store building materials minimizing damage
Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping
Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance
Maintain cleanliness in work area
Assist in inventory counts

Qualifications

1 year of forklift/warehouse experience
Proficient in forklift operation
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Able to lift up to 75 lbs
Detail-oriented and organized
