Job Description

The Distribution Center Safety Supervisor is responsible for establishing and meeting company objectives in health, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on reducing team member exposure to work-related injuries and accidents.

Responsibilities

Build strong working relationships with Distribution Center leadership
Participate in safety orientation, training, and education
Conduct safety audits and facility inspections
Lead safety committee meetings and provide safety updates
Investigate post-accident incidents and implement corrective actions
Ensure regulatory compliance and safety training programs
Manage safety incidents and powered industrial equipment safety programs
Communicate safety policies and practices effectively
Conduct safety audits and assessments

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years experience in EHS programs/regulatory compliance
Strong communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA regulations

Desired:

Four-year degree in EHS management or related field
Prior supervisory experience in EHS programs
Project management experience
