Job Description

Join our team as a Behavioral Health Assistant in the Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) department, where you will provide care and support to patients and families in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care under the direct supervision of an RN
Assist with transportation, ADLs, comfort measures, and patient discharge
Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel
Promote a therapeutic environment through milieu observation
Document significant behavioral observations in patient records

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
One year of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Keyboard proficiency and ability to navigate electronic systems
