Job Description

The Resident Assistant (RA) assists older or disabled individuals who require 24-hour oversight with activities of daily living. The role focuses on maintaining residents' independence and choice while providing necessary support.

Responsibilities

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Provide assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living
Medication assistance and health monitoring
Assist with dining and meal preparation
Participate in the activity program
Emergency preparedness and facility maintenance

Qualifications

CNA certification or relevant experience
Ability to provide compassionate care
Good communication skills
Understanding of emergency procedures
