A Sales Lead at Build-A-Bear plays a dual role within the store, acting as both a Bear Builder and a Floor Leader on Duty during designated shifts. Responsibilities

Bear Builder Role:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests in creating their personalized furry friends
  • Actively engage with guests, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for the brand
  • Create a warm and inclusive atmosphere for guests
  • Uphold operational excellence by consistently meeting brand standards

Floor Leader on Duty Role:

  • Provide exceptional guest service
  • Guide, support, and direct a team of associates
  • Model Experience First behaviors
  • Work with the management team to address and resolve issues

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred: Build-A-Bear store associate experience
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in business, management, or related field
