Job Description

Join our team at Two Bridges Neighborhood Council as a Construction Training Manager. We are dedicated to serving the neighborhoods of Manhattan's Lower East Side and Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a detailed 10-month construction training curriculum
  • Ensure consistent and adequate hard and soft-skills training for trainees
  • Set clear standards for appropriate behavior on the construction site
  • Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with private contractors for collaborative partnerships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Certified NCCER and OSHA 10 Construction trainer
  • Experience working with low-income at-risk young adults preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
