Job Description

The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs to engage the community, building relationships with stakeholders, and promoting organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outreach programs to engage the community
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and awareness campaigns
  • Represent the organization at public events and meetings
  • Manage outreach materials, social media, and communication efforts
  • Track and report on outreach activities and community impact
  • Assist in securing partnerships, sponsorships, and funding opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications required
  • Previous experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related role preferred
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and event coordination abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in social media, marketing, and outreach tools is a plus
