Job Description

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Memory Care Director - LPN to join our team at Cogir of Tigard. The Memory Care Director will oversee resident care services in the Memory Care neighborhood, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents with dementia.

Responsibilities

Provide training and orientation to all care staff
Assist in recruiting and supervising care staff
Maintain medication program
Perform assessments and reassessments of residents
Act as a contact for non-clinical issues related to resident care
Support resident distressed behavior and families experiencing dementia

Qualifications

Degree in gerontology, nursing, social work, or related field preferred
Current LPN/LVN license required
Minimum 2 years of dementia experience in a supervisory role required
3-5 years of experience in assisted living and memory care preferred
CDP certification preferred
Knowledge of computer systems and strong communication skills required
