Job Description

Seeking a Safety Manager to oversee and implement Safety programs at our plant in New York, NY, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement in safety measures.

Responsibilities

Lead compliance reviews and safety assessments
Participate in incident investigations
Provide guidance on Safety issues
Develop and deliver Safety training programs
Enforce Safety regulations and ensure PPE use
Foster positive relationships with employees and regulatory agencies

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Minimum 5 years of EH&S experience
Experience in a unionized environment
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
