Job Description

Lead and manage a five-year grant-funded initiative focused on identifying, producing, and sharing compelling stories of Christian faith and life in America.

Responsibilities

  • Create workplan/timeline for project activities with key deliverables
  • Convene and support a Core Advisory Committee group
  • Hire Project Researcher to identify project partners and stories
  • Recruit cohorts for storytelling training and oversee implementation
  • Liaise with consultants for renovating James Chapel as a storytelling venue
  • Develop cadre of Storytelling Fellows and support their work
  • Plan and execute convenings of faith leaders, alumni, clergy, and community partners
  • Manage project budget and produce grant reports
  • Travel as needed within the U.S.

Qualifications

  • B.A. required, M.A. preferred in Humanities/Communications
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Managerial/Director role
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in project and grant management
  • Knowledge of public relations and media marketing
