Job Description

The Scheduler Coordinator assists and supports the Site Manager in coordinating the academic and device training schedules for the T44 C Pilot Training Program. Training schedules include classroom and simulator scheduling for students in formal course training of differing syllabi. Performs routine site admin functions and provides liaison functions between Site Manager, the Customer, and the Scheduling authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, coordination, publishing, and distribution of comprehensive training schedules
  • Coordinates the day-to-day academic and device training based on classroom, instructor, and device availability along with student/instructor pilot availability and student progression
  • Ensures maximum training efficiency with minor syllabus deviations
  • Synchronizes the formal course training requirements of all the syllabi
  • Conducts/attends required weekly scheduling meetings and provides monthly scheduling inputs for the monthly status reports
  • Coordinates with TRAWING training officials for new student requirements
  • Identifies and coordinates shipment of documentation and/or materials
  • Ensures all events are assigned to appropriate regulations
  • Resolves scheduling and instructor qualification conflicts
  • Tracks and records the utilization and maintenance discrepancies of the training devices
  • Schedules students and instructors to support training device and classroom missions
  • Schedule contract instructors and others in accordance with approved program directives and instructions
  • Manages student flow to ensure training tracks with applicable program training syllabus
  • De-conflicts and coordinates changes to schedules as required
  • Documents and maintains all instructor qualification upgrades

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications - to include Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time management and multitasking
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a good working relationship with all members of the team, customers, and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Applicant will be subject to US Government investigation for access to classified information and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain/maintain the required level of security clearance
