Job Description

Long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in MOON TWP, Pennsylvania. Work closely with the team to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.

Responsibilities

Accurately calculate employee compensation based on time worked, salary, bonus, and/or commission.
Ensure precise calculation and application of taxes and payroll expenses.
Handle tasks related to garnishments and salary adjustments.
Supervise payroll processes under the direction of the Payroll Manager.
Administer employee bonus programs and commission functions.
Oversee payroll expense reporting and maintain accurate records.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of salary structures.
Process garnishments as per legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations.
Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Proficiency in managing various payroll functions, including processing, adjustments, and garnishments.
Experience in using payroll software, particularly About Time.
Familiarity with compensation administration and salary structures.
Ability to supervise and coordinate with other team members effectively.
Comprehensive understanding of commission functions in the wholesale distribution industry.
Experience with expense reporting and budget management.
Knowledge of the bonus program and its implementation within a payroll context.
Ability to handle T1 forms and related tax obligations.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
