Job Description

Join NTS Amega West USA as a CNC Machinist for the Night Shift. Work with cutting-edge CNC machinery to produce precision components for the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

Proficient in programming, editing and setting up a variety of parts on Mazak Integrex 5-axis CNC Machines using Mazatrol/G-code.
Familiarization with machining non-mag, hastelloy, nickel, and carbon steel materials.
Perform API threading and precision machining per oil & gas industry standards.
Conduct first-run job tool proofing and provide optimization feedback.
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using GD&T principles.
Identify and correct non-conforming parts using precision measuring instruments.
Ensure compliance with API Spec 7-1, quality assurance protocols, and safety guidelines.
Utilize cutting-edge multi-axis CNC machining techniques for complex part production.
Optimize tool paths and machining efficiency to maximize production output.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience operating and programming Mazak Integrex CNC Machines.
Confidence in machining complex, tight tolerance components
Strong knowledge of GD&T, tooling selection, and machining offsets.
Ability to work with tight tolerances (+/- .0005? accuracy).
Experience with high-strength alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, and titanium machining.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and thrive in team-oriented settings.
