As a Patient Service Representative, you will provide excellent customer service to patients, manage administrative tasks, and ensure smooth operations within the healthcare facility.
Greet patients and families at the front desk.
Troubleshoot issues with patients using the new iPad system for check-in/screening.
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle referrals.
Provide information about appointments, insurance, and payments.
Assist with the transfer of patients between departments.
Perform administrative tasks such as chart prepping and maintaining medical records.
Coordinate patient appointments and information flow between departments and outside organizations.
Administrative experience (filing, scanning, data entry).
Technical abilities (Adobe, PDF, Outlook, Excel).
Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
Experience handling medical records, posting payments, and insurance verification.
On-the-job training.
