Job Description

The ACCS Lead Peer Specialist provides leadership to team members with lived experience to promote the functioning and integration of adults receiving psychiatric rehabilitation services into their communities.

Responsibilities

In this role you will draw upon your own personal experiences with recovery to build skills needed for independency. Responsibilities include:

Initiate and conduct intake process for referred Persons Served
Focus on welcoming, orienting, and engaging PS to support understanding of services and support available
Work with PS on readiness for goal setting and provide support, education, and advocacy
Maintain close contact with PS who struggle with engagement in ACCS

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Lived experience with recovery

- Strong communication and advocacy skills
