Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Tech to support our PRESSCO machine vision systems that inspect food and beverage containers on high-speed production lines. In this role, you will provide service/support at our customers' facilities in the Americas. This position requires a technical-focused individual with a high attention to detail, capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Install new systems and upgrades at customer sites in North & South America
  • Perform all mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and integration
  • Analyze, evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical software based equipment and application problems
  • Provide aid, support, and training to our customers in professional manner
  • Perform equipment inspections and onsite system audits
  • Provide detailed, timely follow up with internal and external customers
  • Read schematics, electrical drawings, and system diagrams
  • Travel up to 100% is required
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience with the installation, set-up, alignment, commission, and repair of precision electro-mechanical equipment
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products
  • Experience with wiring termination and cable management
  • Experience with assembling and building hardware support structures and frames
  • Experience with using high speed drills; drilling hardened steel, stainless steel, and concrete; using taps to thread drilled holes; and using mechanical anchors to mount equipment
  • Excellent technical skills and detail-orientation
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to breakdown complex subjects
  • Ability to be independent and self-directed
  • Highly adaptable to a fluid schedule and working environment
