Job Description

Conduct root cause analysis on reported service affecting events on the Crown Castle Fiber network. Provide detailed written Trouble Resolution Reports to customers. Identify and repair chronic issues in customer and network systems.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze Crown Castle Fiber infrastructure for root cause of service impairments
  • Provide detailed written root cause analysis reports to customers
  • Identify and repair chronic issues in customer & network systems
  • Plan, validate, and execute corrective measures on Optical and Data network
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally within Crown Castle Fiber
  • Analyze trouble ticket details for troubleshooting initiatives
  • Represent the Service Assurance team in customer-facing meetings
  • Develop training modules on new technologies and platforms

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  • 5+ years of telecommunications experience
  • Understanding of network technologies and communications protocols
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience with various platforms like Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, etc.
