Job Description

Join Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation as a Sales Manager for their intermodal division. This remote role offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission.

Responsibilities

  • Meet assigned net revenue goals for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives through new logo client acquisition.
  • Develop a sales plan and execute relevant activities to reach and exceed established sales goals for new net revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline across Odysseys Logistics services.
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with potential and existing customers for promoting Odyssey Logistics portfolio of chemical logistics solutions.
  • Navigate complex buying committees, develop and maintain professional relationships with economic buyers and key executives within target accounts.
  • Accurately update and forecast opportunities and maintain notes within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to remove roadblocks, track and resolve client objections, and solve problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • 5+ Years of experience closing freight management opportunities with a TMS technology component.
  • 5+ Years of logistics sales and relationship management experience focusing on delivering solutions and services to middle market companies.
  • 5+ Years of Multi-modal experience in TL, LTL, Partial Truckload, and Expedite.
  • Ability to prepare financial proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Experience in complex contract negotiations with both clients and legal counsel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS Office products.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
