Job Description

Join Ryder as a Warehouse Inventory Team Lead in a state-of-the-art facility handling bottled water products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for team members.
  • Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPIs).
  • Assist in providing appropriate orientation for employees.
  • Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
  • Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans for operational enhancement.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
  • One year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with an RF scanner advanced required.
  • Valid forklift operator's license certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintains composure under pressure.
  • Bilingual for Quebec locations only.
