Job Description

Premier Fire & Security is seeking Low Voltage Technicians to join their team in South Carolina. The technicians will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing fire alarm and security wiring, as well as other low voltage equipment.

Responsibilities

Install and program new fire alarms, security systems, access control, and camera systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm, security systems, access controls, and security camera systems.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all systems.
Monitor inventory of service parts on company vehicle when training has progressed to such a level.

Qualifications

Previous experience preferred in the install/service of fire alarm, security systems, access control, and/or cameras.
2 years experience in inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems preferred.
NICET Certification in Fire Alarm, and/or Special Hazards preferred.
Kentucky Fire Alarm Inspector certification preferred.
Familiarity with hand/power tools, uploading/downloading/programming.
Adaptability to change in an innovative technology industry.
Strong troubleshooting, computer, and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Teamwork, time management, multitasking, decision-making.
Self-starting, timeliness, and dependability.
